So sorry to hear the news. It wasn't long ago that we used to live on Georgina Street & Dave "Cowboy" was such a pleasant neighbour to stop & have a visit with. He was always out sitting on the front porch, observing all the neighbourhood activities going on, especially over at the Fairgrounds & track. His love for the animals, especially dogs, was clearly evident. I'd make a point of stopping by to visit with my dog or whichever dog I happened to be walking that day so Dave could say hello to my four-legged friends!
It's hard to believe his bicycle will remain idle now. I was amazed at the distances he'd travel during the summer months, out collecting beer bottles, thousands of them! May you rest in peace Cowboy.
