Peacefully at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket, on Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at the age of 93 years. John Welter of Sutton, predeceased by his wife Rose (nee Eisenreich). Dear father of Eva Steenburg (the late Brian) of Frankford and Ed Welter (Sandra) of Sutton. Loving Grandfather of Alexander Steenburg, Ellen Steenburg and Sabrina Burgess (Nick). Great grandfather of Brian Steenburg and Payton Moody. Dear brother of Alvina Hargreaves. Fondly remembered by his extended family and friends. Resting at the Forrest & Taylor Funeral Home, 20846 Dalton Road, Sutton, from 7 – 9 p.m. Friday. Vigil prayers in the funeral home, Friday at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 20916 Dalton Road, Saturday, November 11, 2017 at 1:30 p.m. Family interment, Holy Cross Cemetery, Thornhill, Monday, November 13, 2017.
