Hughes, John Cleveland Suddenly on Thursday, October 29, 2009 at the age of 57 years. John Hughes of Willow Beach, beloved husband of Sandra Walterhouse - Hughes. Loving father of Sean and Cameron both of Port Hope and doting stepfather of Amanda (Carlos) of Mission, B.C. and Michael of Abbotsford, B.C. and Papa John to Mateo. Dear brother of Ruth Finlay of Toronto and Lynne Scott of California. Lovingly remembered by his nieces and nephews. Beloved son in law of Mary and Don Grant of Pickering. John was a gifted music teacher; he aspired to pass on his love of music to his students. There was no instrument he could not master. John loved life; he was a pure soul and brought joy to all who knew him. Resting at the Forrest & Taylor Funeral Home, 20846 Dalton Road, Sutton from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. Monday. Funeral Service in Knox United Church, 34 Market Street, Sutton, Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. Cremation to follow.
